So Friday night was the stake valentines dance, it was a 50's theme, and as everyone planned in advance, ordered costumes, made reservations etc, to no one's surprise, cory and I decide last minute to go, AND dress up.
The reservations were made for 6:15 and running late as usual, we are still getting ready at 6:15. I hop on the computer thinking 50's hmmmmm. Pulled up pics from Grease, dug through my closet, pulled out a black shirt, spandex, and a jean jacket.....an hour late, and feeling a little (or I should say alot) self concious in my spandex, as we headed to dinner and the dance.
After dinner, we walked into the church I entered a room FULL of red, pink, yellow, purple, white, and every other pastel colored poodle skirt on the market, and pony tails....
And then there was ME, yes me, the only, all black, high heeled, spandex wearing, sluttly looking, pink lady, in the whole church.
I think that tells you where my mind is, and I don't think it's where the GOOD GIRLS are!
Oh yeah, and one small detail left out... We don't know how to swing!!!!!
BTW....the pics are awful, so sorry, just had to post them, spandex rarely look good, even on the best of the best....
