Ok, so i'm not quite the blogger I thought I was going to be, I'm having a hard time simply finding the time.......who knows how long it's been since I've put up any postings. I always feel like I have so much to say yet nothing. Where do I begin...............I'll start with Hawaii,



April 24th off we flew to our favorite place Maui, although, we only go to Hawaii when we vacation so how can I REALLY say it's my favorite place? Dunno. Anywhooch, we hopped the plane at 6:30 and off we went. We flew with some good friends of our Jacob and Annette Rose. We took our baby Lily, because I just didn't have the gumption to leave her yet, we ended up flying a nanny out with us so we could have the freedom we wanted yet still have her with us. I have to say, she was such a trooper, the entire trip, I never regretted taking her.

So we got there thursday after noon, so stinking excited we couldn't even stand it, the best part of the trip was it was the first time the roses had been to Hawaii so it was like going for the first time ourselves.

We stayed in a condo in Kihei, right on the water, and did all kinds of fun stuff, we attempted to surf, we hiked the bamboo forrest, swam in waterfalls, windsurfed, boogie boarded, watched many sunsets, snorkelled, swam with turtles, My studly husband biked up Haleakela crater with Jacob, they went from sea level up to 10,000 feet. It was crazy hard, straight up this windy road for 35 miles. When he was finished I couldn't help but think WHAT A STALLION!



Let's see.....what else........we went to a luau, layed on the beach, we attempted to lay on the beach one night and watch the sunrise, needless to say it took forever, and we finally went in thinking it must have been like 3:30 or 4:00 in the morning, yea, it was only 1:30, must be a sign of age.



I think the best part about the trip was falling in love with my wonderful husband all over again. I feel like a newly wed everytime I go, it must be why I keep going back.... oh yeah, I also love living in my swimsuit and shorts with no makeup and a pony tail. That rocked.
